Dr Ben Werkmeister is a consultant psychiatrist working in the Primary Care Liaison team at Te Whatu Ora/Heath NZ, a senior lecturer at Otago University, and an affiliate lecturer at Victoria University Wellington. He has recently completed a PhD in health research on digital health, and is currently conducting research into the interface between primary and secondary health services, and the perception of mental health amongst health professionals.
