Red and white gingival lesions – a problem or not?

Dr Firth is currently an Oral Medicine Specialist with the CCDHB and a registered specialist in Oral Medicine and Oral Pathology and an experienced Forensic Odontologist. His undergraduate training was at the University of Adelaide and postgraduate training at University of Melbourne. He is currently consultant oral pathologist with Clinipath (WA) and Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology (Qld) and Adjunct Associate Professor University of Queensland and University of Western Australia. Dr Firth currently serves on committees with both the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons and Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia. He is an examiner for the RACDS Primary examinations. In addition to UQ and UWA he has been a full-time academic staff member at the University of Otago and University of Melbourne. His research interests include oral cancer and immune mediated oral mucosal diseases.
